90 Minute Parent Teen Component Drivers Education

Per Senate Bill 78 (2022 Legislative Session), ALL driver’s education students in the Commonwealth must complete this Parent/Student course. 

Students in Planning District 8 are required to sit in an in-person classroom and are NOT eligible to complete an online course.

All students will be required to complete the 90-minute Parent/Teen Course as part of the Driver Education Course before they are allowed to take the final exam.

The login link for the 90-minute parent/teen course will be provided upon registering for the online driver education course.

A student who is (1) at least 18 years of age, (2) an emancipated minor, or (3) an unaccompanied minor not in the physical custody of their parent or guardian is exempt from this requirement.
